We area 36,000-square-foot Centre for the Arts in the North End of Sydney, Cape Breton/Unama’ki, Nova Scotia that offers affordable work, collaboration, learning, and presentation space for artists, arts organizations, and the creative community. The Centre opened in2020 in the former Holy Angels Convent, a 130-year-old heritage building. The Centre is, to date, the largest adaptive reuse of built heritage in Cape Breton/Unama’ki. The Centre features five spaces available for event rentals, and features high ceilings, public art installations, lots of natural light, and several areas of exposed foundation stone. Non-profit and tenant rental rates are available.
